Eric “Boo” Rendell, beloved father of Gus of Calgary, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2008 at the age of 48 years.
Eric was born in Brasd’Or, NS and resided in Calgary for the last twenty years. He adored his son Gus, who was his world. He enjoyed working at Mount Royal College with the employees and students. He was always there to lend a hand to family and friends alike. He enjoyed passing the time with crossword puzzles, and listening to music. He had a career with the Navy for ten years.
Eric is survived by his children Gus, Jayme Lee, and Jennifer; his wife Darcy (Weenur); stepsons Kevin and Jeremy; parents John and Shirley; brothers Gerry and Wayne (Gloria); nieces Rebecca, Nikki, Melissa, and Chrissy , as well as by his nephews Robbie, John Wayne, and Albert.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Friday, September 12, 2008 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
A Celebration of Eric’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E. Calgary, AB) on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
