REMPEL, Denis Norman

Denis was born April 15, 1948 in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan, and passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Wednesday September 24, 2014 at the age of 66 years.

Denis was a dedicated long-term employee of Telus where he will be fondly remembered for his kindness and generosity. As a long-term resident of Greenwood Village he was loved and appreciated for his willing availability and concern for his friends and neighbors.

Denis will be forever loved and remembered by his sisters, Lorraine (Willie) and Myrtle; and his brother Hal (Karen). He was also much loved by all his nieces and nephews who fondly refereed to him as “Uncle D”. He was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Susan Rempel; sisters, Marilyn, Tilly and Thelma; and brother Roy.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Denis’s Life being held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through

    From all that were lucky enough to have worked with and made the acquaintance of Denis. Denis with his great, but quiet, sense of humor, was always there to assist those that knew him when trouble arose. Denis went out of his way to remain the glue that kept his retired friends in touch at the many coffee meetings he personally arranged. Those of us that took advantage of Denis’ kindness and generosity will have certainly suffered a great loss and far too early, RIP Big Den..
