Offer Condolence for the family of REID, Shirley Beatrice (nee Pye)

I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to the family and close friends of Shirley Reid.
My affiliation with Shirley was through my father, Michael Kutchen, many years ago. Shirley and my Dad were friends and companions; they enjoyed some memorable times together including bingo playing, camping and fishing at Kootenay Lake; travelling to Cape Breton and sharing family occasions.
Shirley was a kind, caring and giving person. May she now have rest.
Gordon, Suzanne, Jackie and families,
We are so sad for your loss, and will keep you in our prayers. Your mom was a special part of our lives. We remember many good times including meals, playing cards, camping, and sing-songs; all of which she enjoyed so much. We will miss her smile, her infectious laugh, and most of all her wonderful sense of humour.
She would want you to remember the good times. She is gone but will not be forgotten. Love to all of you, Christina, Wayne and family.

It was with great sadness that we received the news of your loving sister’s passing ,Don, and we want you to know our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. It makes no difference how expected this might have been but when it comes it still hurts to the bone. Dwell on the happy times and celebrate her life which I am sure, with you around, was full of laughter and joy. Take care of your siblings and be confident hers was a life well lived.

So sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. She was a dear family person, and loved everyone she knew. Cousin Shirley loved to visit Labrador and many a time we were there with her. We will always remember the first time she drove ‘up the coast with us’ she was just amazed by the splendour of the mountains. She loved to hear John talk of salmon fishing. She was a true Labradorian and very proud of her heritage. She visited us three years ago when she was ‘home’ and we shared dinner and conversation. We knew she wasn’t so well then. Since then she has suffered much with her sickness. We know that she is now in God’s eternal home where all of her suffering and pain is no more. May God bless you in your time of great loss of such a beautiful person as your mom. We will keep you all in our prayers and thoughts. May God bless you all.

It was with great sadness that we learned of your mom’s passing. Cousin Shirley was special to us and we surely enjoyed her visits to Newfoundland especially the time we spend together during her last couple of days here. She would overnight with us and we would take her to her flight. She was a wonderful person who loved her family very much. She just loved to share pictures and stories with us. We know she is in a better place where she is at peace. Our prayers and thoughts and with you all as you mourn your lost. May God bless you all.
