  5. We are sorry to hear of Don’s passing. We lived beside Don and Doris in Rosemont during the 1990’s and early 2000’s. They were great neighbours, friendly and helpful. As original homeowners in Rosemont, Don would share many stories about the development of the community. We were sad when they moved. Condolences to the family.

  8. My sympathy goes out to your family. I remember as a kid on the farm in Rosebud when your dad would come out and go hunting birds with my dad. Sometimes I was aloud to go with them on these hunts. Don was a very kind and thoughtful man. Our thoughts are with you.

  11. Diane and family,

So sorry to hear of Don’s passing. So many wonderful memories after meeting your mom, dad and you and Darcy along the way since 1959. Working together at Gulf, renting their 23rd avenue house, buting an Old 442 car from your dad, visiting with them from Pleasant Heights and Wild Rose United churches, lunches and visits with your dad after he moved to the Harbours and seeing him last Christmas at the Prince of Peace. A life well-lived and your love and dedication to both your parents was inspiring to see. I’m sorry I couldn’t attend the funeral today as I’m on my way to BC to visit my son who has just had surgery. Hope to see you again soon.

    Sincerest condolences and blessings,

    Keith Fewster

  12. Very sorry to hear of Don’s passing. Don was my first boss at Gulf Oil when I started on Feb 1, 1983. We went on to share Calgary Flames tickets for many years, and we attended many of the games together when the Flames raised the Stanley Cup in 1989. I always enjoyed visiting your home on Rosery Dr and visiting with Doris. He was just a great guy that I always enjoyed my time with, and I was lucky to have him as my first boss, and friend.
