  2. Words cannot express how sad your loss is. I grew up with Darcy and experienced many adventures. He would come to our house and watch my Mom iron and tell her how lovely she was and then play the piano by ear to entertain us.

In Kindergarten, I walked past Darcy and patted him on the head. We both were put into a broom closet by our very nasty and wicked teacher. Much to her disappointment, we had a great time. Our adventures with authority figures continued into Elementary, I believe even on the very first day of Grade 1.

We were blessed to grow up in an era where we could go and play at each other’s homes and our Mother’s treated us like their own. I remember trying to say three properly and Mrs. Reid helping me to say three, instead of free while watching cartoons with Darcy.

May the good times with Darcy sustain you through this very sad time. My parents, Harry and Elsie Wanjoe also send their best to you all.

    With deepest sympathy…

    Lori Wanjoe

  6. So sorry for your loss. I worked with Darcy and he always spoke so fondly of his family, and his eyes always lit up when he spoke of his grandchildren and his ability to “spoil” them. RIP Darcy.
