Marjorie passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at the Mayfair Care Centre in her 88th year.
Marjorie was born in London, England and began her adult life as a commercial artist. Marjorie and Elly met, fell in love and married while he was stationed in England with the Calgary Tanks. She came to Canada as a war bride, first settling on the farm in Rumsey, AB. They later moved to Calgary and then on to Vancouver where she and Elly spent twenty-two happy years. They travelled extensively throughout Canada the U.S. and Europe. Marjorie enjoyed many return visits to her beloved England. She was a devoted wife and mother and her family was of utmost importance.
Marjorie leaves to mourn her passing, her husband of sixty-six years, Elly; three sons, Keith (Sandra), Dale(Theresa) and Terrance; grandchildren, Denise (Ed), Lance (Jeannette), Neil, Devin; great-grandchildren, Kristen, Sarah, Caitlyn and step-grandchildren, Terri (Kobi), Lori, Kelly (Allan), Bonnie, and Jill.
Marjorie’s family will celebrate her life with a private service.
