Condolence Messages

  1. We were so sorry to hear of Ann’s passing. She certainly fought a long and brave fight. Although Ann chose to limit her relationships towards the end, we have always had loving and warm thoughts for her. Gord and I have known Ann for so many years, so many great memories. We were really blessed to be able to reconnect with her after so many years and spend some great quality time with her at Karouzo’s. She had such a wonderful gift of making everyone feel special and at home – no matter where they were.

Our heartfelt condolences from our family to yours.
Kim, Gord, Kevin, Lea & Amanda Wilhelm

I am sorry to hear of Anne’s passing. My contact with her was mainly in her waitrressing days at Louie’s. I often think of her pinto pony Kim, who like her was a freind to all. I find it hard to realize that her life ended so soon. We do have our own span to live. My condolences to the family.

  13. Our sincere sympathy to your family.
I remember meeting Anne when she worked at Karouzo’s restaurant in the lounge, sometimes I would go there after my work just to stop by to have a quick drink. Anne was always happy to see me and would make me feel welcome when I showed up. One of my fondest memories of Anne was when I mentioned that Mike and I were going to see the movie, “The Festival Train,” and Anne mentioned that she remembered as a young lady that the train had pulled into Calgary and she told her parents that she wanted to go look at the “people” camping at Happy Valley campground near Pasca Poo. Her parents told not to go because they were “bad” people and, with a chuckle, she said that her and her friends snuck away to have a look at them. That was a good day!
It was not until years later that I found out that our husbands knew each other, and had work in common. So we both had more to talk about than general run of the day events, our husbands! I knew that Anne liked us because she was always knew what we drank and always had a smile for us.
Both Mike and I will miss Anne, for she had a lively personality, and we understand that she wanted her privacy to deal with her courageous battle with cancer.
Our condolences to her husband, Roberto, and her sons, Michael and John, we will miss her.
