It is with great sadness that we wish goodbye our beloved mother, Margaret Raffay, who passed away at the Agape Hospice on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at the age of 88 years.
Margaret is survived by her daughters Agnes (Phil) Rivet, Helen (Jean) Rinfret, Betty McDonald (Brian Leniczek), Margaret (Rod) Vandenberg, and Christine (Chris) Hayes; son Eli Raffay; fourteen grandchildren, and eighteen great grand-children. Margaret is also survived by her sister Helen Resz, niece Ilona, and many other nieces and nephews in Ontario. She was predeceased by her son Jerry; husband Eli; parents Joseph and Rose; sisters-in-law Violet Fekete and Pearl Raffay; brothers-in-law Frank Fekete, Ted Raffay, and Tony Resz.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church (819 – 13th Avenue S.W.) on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 2:00 p.m.
