Condolence Messages

  1. Christine Wegen :

For Bob: One day, we shall drink Rakia and howl at the moon together again!!! I will always wear the name “M. L. Shrat” proudly, thanks to you. And thank you for allowing me the opportunity to see YOUR Bulgaria. May God bless you and look after you. You are missed.

To the Raduloff Family: Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Please take comfort in knowing that Bob is in a better place (probably drinking Rakia and howling at the moon). He is, and will be, in our hearts.

    With Love,
    Christine Wegen (M. L. Shrat)

  3. Ted and Patti Thorne :

Sharon and family . . . . we are saddened to read of Bob’s death knowing he had such a battle with cancer and had seemed to be doing well when we last saw you together. I would hope he and Siegfried are up there scheming on how to get in to see the great tenors. I am pleased that he and I got up flying and his enthusiasm and engaging self will be dearly missed.

  4. Sharon & family, I was so very saddened to hear about your loss of Bob, he always brightened my day when I would see him & his strength & determination was infectious. So glad you had the extra time even though I know it is never enough !!!! I was told the same thing when I lost my husband – “he is in a better place” – sometimes it’s hard to believe that but as time passes you know it’s god’s truth & he is no longer in pain. My thoughts are with you all – keep your memories close, they will get you through. Very sincerely – Judy Cheesman

  6. Dear Sharon and family

We are very sorry to hear of your loss. We haven’t seen you and Bob for many years but have very fond memories! The kids and I remember many warm, fun, fishing and relaxation days at “Bobs pond”. I have pictures of the kids running around and being honoured to spend time at such a beautiful place. I have a picture of Kyle running around in his underwear holding up some fish. Another precious picture is kim with a swollen face after being stung by some wasps but still smiling. We want to thank you and Bob for those precious memories and for having the privilege of spending time with a very kind and gentle soul. We just wanted you to know how greatful and appreciative we are for being able to collect some great memories at BOBS POND.
    Ramona, Kyle and Kim
