  8. Perry Kotkas (Choir member, St. Thomas) :

So sad to hear Murray has passed away. We have missed his friendly face and warm visits after church. Murray was an extremely nice man! He always complimented us ‘basses’ on a good job – made us feel so good. we shall be singing our hearts out on Tuesday at his service. The Basses with jobs will have a hard time being there tho.
Murray spoke at a Men’s breakfast a few years ago – did a wonderful job. It was very interesting to hear of his younger days in Banff.
A great guy – and a certain boost to the nice people in God’s hands!
May you have wonderful memories of such a nice person.

  9. Barbara and Yukio Kitagawa :

Mr. Raby was one of my instructors at SAIT back in 1957 – 1958 where I took my Journeyman Carprentry courses. He was a very kind man and I enjoyed being in his classes. I later went on to teach Building Construction at Bishop Grandin High School when it opened it’s Vocational Section in 1969. I credit Mr. Raby and Otto Jensen with my success, as they were fine instructors. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
