I am so sad Meg is gone. She had this inner grace and aura about her that I felt deeply every time we were together. She was always beautiful inside and out. She was Meg, every time and I always enjoyed being in her company. She had this old wisdom about her. She along with Cathy were friends I knew I would have FOREVER.
She will remain in my heart, my thoughts and my memory. Forever.
IT really SUCKS SHE IS GONE!

  3. Geez she makes me smile – cooking, chatting, partying all night long at the danloe clubhouse, fireworks in english bay, amazing dinners out where ever we are, quiet conversations smoking on the front porch in the freezing cold, bbq’ing in the back in the freezing cold, keeping track of cathy (oi !!!), opening her cooler into my fridge and wondering wtf? you travel with your own home-made: salsa, pesto, caesar salt mix, mustard, marinadeS, pepper grinder, sun-dried tomato paste,,, (of course you do 🙂 )

what a gal, what a loss for us all…

    will love you always,,,

  16. Robert Johnston :

Here in the later half of 2012 I’ve learned of Meg’s passing and it is such sad news. I met Meg via her framing/art store. She helped me pick out some Charlie Russell prints as Christmas presents, framed them and helped get my own music CDs sold in the connected book store. For me to meet someone with a strong sense of supporting individual dreams, that made an impression. Meg was always so full of strong, independent, positive energy and she had told me at one point how she was so determined to make a success of her business. “I know what I’m doing!”. She sure did. Last time I saw her she was looking very strong after some chemo, I presumed all was on the mend. Meg, wherever you are, I salute you and will always be inspired by your example.
