Condolence Messages

  1. Some of my vey earliest memories is going to Aunt Mary & Uncle Doug’s in Carbon. My dad and Uncle Doug taking us to the hill to toboggan. Then Aunt Mary fussing over us coming back wet and cold. I miss Aunt Mary and now will miss Uncle Doug. May he rest in peace and find Aunt Mary waiting for him. My most heartfelt condolences to all of my cousins. Doug was a good man and the world has lost a kind and generous soul.

  3. My heart goes out to the whole family. Uncle Doug was quite a guy: patient, caring, kind, steady, organized – and I understand that he continued to be on top of things to the last. He made our world a better place. It was a great gift that he was able to stay at home, surrounded with love and care. We’ll miss him.

  8. Geraldine Mortimer Shadlock :

Have fond memories of your Dad mostly from Bus days, and of course your Mom involving Dad in her youth projects. Many times I was at their house, you boys were very young. I recall the little museum at the bottom of the hill. There are not many oldtimers left from Carbon. Feel like I’m one of them. Carbon Homecoming is in August.
    Sincere sympathy
