  2. My sincere condolences to you Wendy. I agree he was taken to soon. I had stopped in a couple of times over the last few years trying to see you guys. I remember a lot of the good times we had at your farm out here at Osler. I also appreciated the times you guys put me up overnight on my way up north. May those memories always be with us. Again my thoughts are with you, Ruby and the rest of the family.

Brian….you were my never wavering support over the past 7 years. I could not have managed without your help and reassurance. I will miss the jokes we shared and the “happy hours” which were enjoyed by all those present. Rest in peace my dear friend. Memories of our time together will stay with me always.

  7. Barbara Ebbers :

I’m writing on behalf of the staff at our medical clinic, Wendy(Dr Maharaj etc), with sadness. Brian didn’t come in very often, especially after he started work in South America, but I always enjoyed taking him to the room, discussing his ‘reason for the visit’ and hearing his stories about work. He led a very interesting life! He was never grumpy or complaining when here, always had a great smile and we’d share laughs about a story or experience of his. Sometimes he wore /held a cowboy hat, always had his boots and jeans on. I know you have a lifetime of memories of fun times with him and pray that as time passes, the acuteness of your loss eases somewhat. He’ll be alive in your heart forever and we all remember him with joy and sadness that his great life was so short.

  11. I am saddened at the loss of a great spirit and good friend. Brian’s unfailing optimism and energy inspired those around him, and his sense of humour and fun were always welcome. I will remember him as a man of personal integrity, and a depth of generosity he could never hide under that tough cowboy exterior. Linda and I extend our thoughts and prayers to Wendy through the difficult times to come.

  13. Renate und Herbert :

    Liebe Wendy,
