POLLOCK, Patrick (Pat) Joseph

February 11, 1934 – November 30, 2014

Patrick Pollock of Calgary Alberta passed away peacefully at the age of 80 years.

Patrick was born to the late Raymond and Mable (nee Griffin) Pollock on February 11, 1934 in Lethbridge Alberta. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and a true cowboy. Pat enjoyed supporting his children and grandchildren in their sporting activities. He was a fifty year life member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union local 496 and member of the Sam Steele Scouts.

Pat is survived by his wife of fifty-five years Barbara (nee Cragg); four children, Gary (Lori) Pollock, Kelli (Garrett) Schneider, Shawna Pollock (Glenn) and Patty Stewart and nine grandchildren, Jewel, Sawyer, Key, Cody, Spencer, Taylor, Ty, Griffin and Sydney.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Poppy Fund, #1, 4539 – 6th Street N.E., Calgary, AB T2E 3Z6, Telephone: (403) 265-6304. The family wishes to acknowledge the staff at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre for their kindness and care.
