POLLARO, Armando
March 1, 1929 – January 1, 2012
Armando Pollaro of Calgary passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2012 at the age of 82 years.
Armando was born in Sartano, Torano Castello, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1968.
Armando is survived by his daughters, Giuseppina (Silvio) Chiodo of Toronto, ON, Franca (Carlo) Cecchetto of Calgary, AB, and Anna (Rod) Burylo of Calgary, AB; as well as eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Armando was predeceased by his loving wife Elvira and daughter Clementina.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be held at OUR LADY OF GRACE ITALIAN AND ENGLISH CATHOLIC CHURCH (1714 – 14th Avenue N.E.) on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 10:30 a.m.. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Mausoleum. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. A special thanks to unit 61 at the Foothills Hospital.
