PLESZING, Elsbeth (nee Sommer)

January 12, 1941 – July 24, 2012

 It is with sadness, we announce that Elsbeth Pleszing, surrounded by her loving family, has succumbed to cancer, at the age of 71 years, at the Foothills Hospital, on Tuesday, July 24, 2012.

 Elsbeth was born in Reinach, Switzerland.

 She is survived by her loving husband Emmerich, children Kathie (Dave), Bob, Sandy (Alex), and six great-grandchildren.

 A memorial service will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church (15 Templebow Road N.E.) on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.  Following the service, a celebration of life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, #284 Chapelhow (606 38 Avenue N.E.) at 1:00 p.m.   Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
