Margaret Eugenia Pleskie of Calgary passed away on Friday, December 12, 2008 at the age of 72 years.
Margaret worked for the Bank of Montreal for thirty-one years and volunteered with the Calgary Catholic Immigration Society, as well as the Leighton Foundation. She lent a helping hand anywhere she could, and was happiest when busy helping people, or having her family and friends come to visit.
She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Peter and Laura Pleskie of Medicine Hat, AB, Edward Pleskie, and Allan Pleskie and Heather Pusch all of Calgary; as well as two grandchildren, Spencer Pleskie and Nicole Carlone. Margaret is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law Ted and Marjorie Rumpf, a sister Eveyln Balsdon, all of Edmonton, AB; and a sister-in-law Hazel Rumpf of Bassano, AB. She was predeceased by her father Edward Rumpf, her mother Mildred Rumpf (nee Hunter) and brother Lyle Rumpf.
