Dolores Phillips of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at the age of 73 years.

Dolores enjoyed travel, gardening, and the time spent with all her women’s groups. She was a remarkable family person. Dolores loved hosting gatherings. Mom was a joyous and creative creature, and loved spending time in the mountains. She loved animals, especially her cherished family dogs.

Dolores is survived by her children Kevin (Jeannie), Krista Kisiw, and Paul (Michelle Johnston); grandchildren Danielle, Jason, Steven (Michelle Bosma), and Craig. She was predeceased by her father William, mother Lillian, brother Larry Kisiw, and son Michael.

A Celebration of Dolores’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Chinook Hospice, 1261 Glenmore Trail S.W., Calgary AB T2V 4Y8. Special thanks to the staff of Chinook Hospice for the care and comfort they provided.

    It is always difficult saying goodbye to good friends. Dolores was a very special, wonderful friend and, although we were unable to say farewell to her in person, we were there in spirit. Our prayers go to the family.
