Gordon Phelan passed away peacefully in Okotoks, AB on September 25, 2013.

Gordon was born in Montreal on November 8, 1922. He was a devoted husband to Muriel and loving father to Donald and Patricia. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force and was proud of his over 35 years of service to CP Hotels following the war. After retirement he moved to Calgary to be nearer to his family. Gordon’s greatest pleasures included watching the progress of his grandchildren, meeting his great grandson Rhett and playing with his canine friends Millie and Teddy.

He will be greatly missed by his daughter Patricia, granddaughter Jennifer and her husband Ian, grandson James, sister Anne and numerous family and friends whom he never failed to make smile.

Gordon was predeceased by his wife Muriel, son Donald, brothers; Leo and William, and sisters; Gladys and Lena.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Monday September 30, 2013 at 10:30 am.
