Condolence Messages

  1. Terry, Yvonne, Sara, Halie and Ty :

Uncle Kev, we are so very sad that you are gone but we will always cherish the great times that we shared with you. Remember those crazy camping trips in the rain? Or floating down the PoCo river? Or just hanging out next to the bonfire and singing along to Johnny Cash and Halie’s then favorite song “The burning ring of fire”. Only you could get a three year old to memorize the words to that one! We will never forget your smile and that great laugh of yours. You were always so much fun to be with and dare we say, the life of the party! We wish we would have had a chance to say good-bye but know that you are in a wonderful place in heaven. We will miss you terribly but will forever keep you in our hearts. And you can bet we will be remembering you and reminiscing about the great times we had on every single camping trip we go on. Won’t be the same without you but we are greatful for the short time that we did have together.

We will miss you terribly. Sending you lots of love – Terry, Yvonne, Sara, Halie and Ty.

  2. Marlene Leil :

I am deeply saddened to hear of Kevin’s passing.
My sisters and i will never forget his ability to make my ailing father smile when my mother was sick. If you ever knew my father at that time then you would realize that this was no easy task. Their endless hours spent by the fire was definitely something to seeand will remain a great memory of Kevin for me. In fact, it really sums up who Kevin was as a person as I am sure that you will all agree.
I spent many years with Kevin at one time in my lifeand he will never be forgotten. I still have our dog Rosie who remains addicted to McDonalds cheeseburgers thanks to him!
He was a free spontaneous spirit who is probably busy rocking the boat in heaven right now.
My heart goes out to Kevins wife and children.
My condolences to the Peterson family.

    Marlene and Rosie
