PETERS, Jean Jacques

July 10, 1929 – Paris, France
August 28, 2013 – Calgary, AB

Jean Jacques Peters, beloved husband of Joella of Calgary, AB passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at the age of 84 years

During the Second World War, Jean spent his youth in the Alps. He served in the French military, and completed his military service in French Indo China. After his discharge, Jean came to Canada in 1952 to Pier 21, seeking a new life, he travelled to Calgary. Jean enjoyed many happy years building and supplying wood and parts for home built aircrafts at his shop, Western Air Craft Supplies. He was a member of the EAA, Experimental Aircraft Association, for many years. He enjoyed being surrounded by his family at all occasions.

Jean is survived by his loving wife Joella; daughter Marilyn (Lynn), son Paul (Janet), daughter Melissa (Paul); five grandchildren Deanne, Andrea, Julianna, Lillian, Quinten; and sister Jacqueline.

Jean was predeceased by his brother Pierre.

A Celebration of Jean’s Life will be held at a later date. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
