As a fellow traveller and an Australian, Elsa and I spent many hours talking about her travels and her son in Australia. Dear Bob,

Monique Aries informed us that Elsa Mae passed away. Connie and I feel the need to write some words to you and your sisters. She is my oldest niece in Canada and only 6 years younger than me. With this info I realised myself that we become older and older. Time flies. It was in 1996 that Connie and I visit Canada. First we stay some days with Delee and Sam, than by train to Edmonton, and stayed some days with your father and mother. It was a pity that it was not possible to see you on the railway station of Winnipeg. Also we met Pam in the house of your father and mother. This was a very nice time. Later we spent different nights with Elsa Mae in her house in Creek. It was so cosy and warm this stay and it feels that we were living very close to each other. We have had a very nice time with her, and spoke about many family affairs as well as in Canada as in Holland. At that moment we learned from her that she missed her sons very much, but later we understood that that situation changed before she passed away.
Connie and I wish you and Denise, Delee and Sam, Pam and Jon and also uncle Jack and Rita all the best.
Dear Bob, please send this message also to your sisters ans uncle Jack.

    Kind Regards,
    Connie and Ruud Aries.

I am deeply saddened. Elsa & I were classmates at the Sacred Heart Academy in Yorkton and our paths crossed sporadically through the years as we entered the same profession. Then life takes over and suddenly so many years passed. We reconnected on social media as she shared her health struggles in the most classy way possible. Such a gentle kind soul. You will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing you.
