Anne, an amazing woman with a strong faith in God and a deep love for her family, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 14, 2005 at the age of 88 years after a life well lived.
Anne was a vibrant, confident and elegant lady who made friends easily. As a young woman, Anne had a successful career working for the Hudson’s Bay Co. where she met Frank. They were married on August 25, 1947. Anne later worked for twenty two years as Secretary of St. Mary’s High School where she made many friends and fond memories. An avid traveller, Anne made many trips to areas around the world with relatives and friends. She especially enjoyed visiting her extended family in Ireland and Boston. Her grandchildren will miss sunny days in the backyard with Grandma.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Mary-Ellen (Joe), son Brian, daughter-in-law Norma; grandchildren Nicole (Chris), Cori (Guy), Lindsay (Wayne), and Rosalee; great grandchildren Madison, Evan, Meighan, Cole, Ryder; and her beloved brother Pat; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Anne was predeceased by her husband Frank, her son Terry and her two sisters, Ellen and Margaret.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Cathedral (219 – 18th Avenue S.W.) on Friday, April 22, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. C. Eric Nelson, Presider.
