Condolence Messages

  1. It was a terrible shock to see that Walt has passed away. I was fortunate to have worked with him at the Canadian Superior merger and for many years afterwards at Mobil. While he was always the “royalty guru ” to me, it was his dedication, his willingness to share that knowledge at any time, and his unassuming manner that left a lasting impression on me. After he retired, the royalty group was never quite the same. I know though, as I neared my retirement in the royalty group, I tried to pattern myself on how he would have approached things.
I’ll sure miss his laugh and watching him turn red.
My sincere condolences to all of your family.

  2. Just heard of Walter’s death. I haven’t seen him in more years than I can remember. He worked for my dad on a farm in Leamington when I was about 7. I spent a bit of time with him, he had gotten sick and was waiting for a ride home. I talked with him for a bit, and after that only saw him at weddings etc. Still he was part of our family, my mothers cousin, I knew his younger siblings quite a bit more, and I feel a sense of loss at the news of his death. I’d like to offer my condolences to his family. Henry and Sandy Dyck
