June Palicz of Calgary, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017 at the age of 91 years.

June was born on June 17, 1926 in the city of Montreal, Quebec to parents Gustaf and Elizabeth Elm.

June is survived by her son, Andrew Palicz, of Calgary, AB; her son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Beth Carrington, of Orono Minnesota; her grandchildren, Liam, Annika and Teagan Carrington.

June was predeceased by her loving husband, John Palicz, in 2007; and her parents, Gustaf and Elizabeth Elm. She was also predeceased by her six sisters and two brothers.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff on the fourth floor of the Chartwell Eau Claire Care Residence for the compassionate care that they showed to June.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary, AB) this evening, Friday, July 14, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held at Peace Lutheran Church (14640 – 6th Street S.W.) on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the church. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be forwarded through If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to Peace Lutheran Church.
