  14. Dear Pete & entire family. I used to live in Calgary which is where I met you two. As you know, I transformed my life & now live in beautiful Victoria, BC. Barb came to visit me here in March 2011. We had the BEST time: tea in the sunshine at a local botanical park, a didg (her round one) & percussion party with my friends on the beach by the ocean, a romp in the hill of blooming daffodils at Beacon Hill Park. I do believe she had a great time, as did I. Whenever I see the daffodils bloom in the park, she will be there. I will miss her smiling face. Love & Blessings to you all.

  19. Martina Tchipeff-Ruse :

    Dearest Pete and kids,
I was thinking of you this afternoon on this very difficult day. My heart goes out to you. I can still not believe That Barb has gone. I remember her as such a strong person, having dealt with some tragedies in her own family. Looking through our photo albums, I was also remembering the times we shared together whether it was our canoe trip, the birth of “little buddy”, Christmas visits, our one visit to Calgary where you all showed us such hospitality, Barb sitting with Bri and me at the head table at our wedding, etc. These are memories that I will always cherish.
I know that your wonderful memories will also sustain you at this most difficult time although we all wish that there had been future days to share.
I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers. Take care of yourselves. Wishing your whole family peace,
    Martina
