October 30, 1935 – February 7, 2013

Eloise Outhwaite of Calgary passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at the age of 77 years.

Eloise was born in Hoffer, SK and was one of ten children raised by Mildred and Clarence Domstad. Eloise married Don Outhwaite in Plentywood, Montana on March 3, 1956. They had three children, Dawn Adele, Lori and Dan. Mom was a “stay-at-home” mom. She belonged to Oil Wives in Swift Current and Calgary, where she met most of her life-long friends. She spent her retirement years in Parksville, BC and loved the ocean and fishing with Dad. Mom was a grandmaster bridge player. She loved watching all sports and was a dedicated Calgary Flames and Saskatchewan Roughriders fan. She also enjoyed tailgating with Dan at Stampeders games. The last twelve years of her life were spent in Calgary, where she lived with her son Dan and his dog Yepper. Mom’s sparkling eyes and her laughter will be greatly missed.

Eloise will be lovingly remembered by her daughter and son-in-law Lori and Wade Harper; son Dan Outhwaite; brother Larry (Rita) Domstad; five sisters, Clarice (Jim) Jury, Darlene Brownridge, Eileen (Marty) Pasishnek, Linda Hala and Jo Ann (Roy) Rasmussen and numerous nieces and nephews.
