OUGHTRED, Jean (nee Nicholson)

April 20, 1925 – May 16, 2012

Jean Oughtred beloved wife of the late George Wilson Oughtred of Calgary passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the age of 87 years.

Jean was born in Guisborough, Yorkshire, England in 1925. Jean will be lovingly remembered for her intuition, insight, sense of humor, pearls and many pearls of wisdom.

She will be dearly missed by her three children Mary Ann Oughtred (David Huntus), Lawrence Charles and Elizabeth as well as her two grandchildren Jeanna Huntus and Grace Huntus.

Jean is survived by her sister Rosemary (nee Nicholson) Thomas of Guisborough, Yorkshire, England.

Jean was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, George Wilson Oughtred in July, 2011; her parents William Messinger Nicholson and Mary Ann ( nee Bell ) Nicholson; and brother William Nicholson all of England.

A private graveside service will be held at the family cemetery in the Eastern Township of Quebec. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
