  4. Larry B. Thiessen :

Dear Jean and family – it was with utmost sadness that I heard of George’s passing this morning. I fondly remember working with George (and of course, Sanny, Jen, Bob and others at Purchase) in 1997 to 1999. George was one of the most interesting people that I have come across in my career. I will always cherish his honesty, integrity, insights and keen sense of humour – he was truly one of a kind. I was most fortunate to have known him and to have had the pleasure of working for him. May he rest in peace. Larry Thiessen.
