Harry Otjes passed away peacefully at the Dr. Fanning Centre on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at the age of 90 years.
Born in Amsterdam, Harry immigrated to Calgary in 1948. He started as a shop mechanic and due to his strong work ethic soon owned several businesses. He was President of the Multicultural Center and founder of the Multicultural Choir.
Harry is survived by his loving wife Alida of sixty-five years; sons Robert (Lise), Tom (Karen), Bruce (Kathy); six grand daughters, three great-grandsons and many nieces and nephews in Canada and Holland. He is also survived by his sister Mary (Jan) and brother Joop (Atie).
A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Elboya Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.
