October 27, 1935 – September 9, 2012
On Sunday, September 9, 2012, Millicent Osterberg our beautiful wife, mother, sister and friend went to heaven peacefully after a 15 year battle with cancer.
Millie’s incredible spirit, generosity, hard work and infectious laughter charmed everyone who was lucky enough to know her. Her innate interest and love of people led her to travel every continent on the globe, and her passion for family, sports, music, theatre and bridge kept her always joyous and fulfilled.
Celebrating her life and all she did for us are her husband Arne; daughters Kathryn and Margaret; sons-in-law Neil Evenson and Ross Clendening, her amazing granddaughters Nika and Grace, and her sisters Margaret (Bernt) Brauer and Jacqueline Siegfried, along with many treasured nieces, nephews and cousins, and her wonderful friends. She was predeceased by her mother Myrtle Hawken, father John Brocklebank Hawken; her precious grandson Arne Donald, her parents-in-law Waldemar and Ida Osterberg, and brother-in-law Alvar Osterberg.
Thank you so much, Millie and Mom. We love you always.
