O’ROURKE-INNES, Marilyn Irene (nee Smith)

March 19, 1936 – September 15, 2014

Marilyn beloved wife of Jack of Calgary passed away peacefully on Monday, September 15, 2014 at the age of 78 years.

Marilyn is survived by her husband Jack Innes; son Colin O’Rourke; step-daughters Darlene Innes (Robert), Linda Spencer (Gary) and their three daughters; brothers Bernie Smith, Ken Smith (Carol); sister Peggy Dekinder (Doug); and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, James Daly O’Rourke on January 8, 1995.

Marilyn was very involved in many committees but most recently, she was the president and an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 285. We would like to thank them for all their support and to the doctors and staff of the Tom Baker Cancer Centre.

Funeral Service will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1307 – 14th Street S.W.) on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
