  4. Alanna Onespot :

Made this poem for my granny! Has been 3 years since she passed and I still would give the world to see her beautiful face!

    Grannys poem
I remember the last time I saw you right before you left us, sitting at the table as I gave you a hug then you said I love you, & I said I love you too I would have said more if I only knew, If words could bring you back I won’t stop writing, if I said I didn’t take your presence for granted creator would know I was lying and that’s why I can’t stop crying I tell you I’m trying i just want to say I’m
sorry and I don’t want you to worry I just couldnt comprehend why creator wanted you to leave it’s something I couldn’t believe, when I got the news i thought now you are set free from all the earthly pain and suffering that’s something I didn’t see coming, I could still hear your laugh and the way you say my name since you left a lot has changed and nothing will be the same! now it’s been a year and No words can explain when i dream of you Like nothing can explain what my heart feels for you, not even thousands of I Miss You’s will ever measure up to how much i really miss you! The pain i feel inside my heart is something I turned into a form of art, but I could write thousands of poems with thousands of words & it will never tell the story of how beautiful your life was and how you lived it, I understand that every life has a limit, but not a day goes by when i don’t think of you not even a hour or a minute, we can pretend your there and speak to you better yet we can pray to you and know your listening, we can look into the sky and see you glistening, I believe you are the brightest star when I feel like I’m in darkness! I was told All tears falling aren’t a sign of weakness its a sign of strength that I am healing from the pain I’m feeling, over time I’ve learned to understand you didn’t die you passed on & even though its been days since you’ve been gone, your legacy will forever live on!
