Gwedolyn One Spot of Tsuu T’ina Nation, AB, passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on January 9, 2008 at the age of 35 years.
She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by her lifelong friend and husband of seventeen years Clayton Big Plume. Gwendolyn was the loving mother of four beautiful daughters, Angie, Zoe, Drew, and Bridgette and two sons, Norman and Trent; as well as stepdaughter Johnny Beth; and grandson Layton. Gwendolyn is also survived by her siblings David (Ginger), Leslie (Chris), Greg, Cory, and Mike, her brother-in-law Curt Bastien; grandmother Elsie Mistaken Chief as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and numerous friends who shared her life with her. Gwendolyn would do anything for her children as they were her pride and joy. She had a great sense of humour and was always teasing and making people laugh. Gwendolyn had a great love for music. She was a generous person who was always willing to help others, the kind of person who would “feed the whole tribe” even though she didn’t have much herself. She will be greatly missed by all. Gwendolyn was predeceased by her parents George and Beatrice One Spot; brother Justin One Spot, and sister Brenda One Spot and her grandparents, Edward and Georgina One Spot, and Steven Mistaken Chief Sr.
