After immigrating to Canada from South Africa with his family in 1996, Keith trained as an SAP consultant and worked for Sylogist (Fintech) in Calgary for many years. “Mr. Keith”, as he was known to his colleagues, was a very competent and knowledgeable SAP Business Systems Consultant (MM and PP modules) and was known as a kind mentor to co-workers and patient instructor to his clients. We give back to you, O God, those whom you gave to us. You did not lose them when you gave them to us, and we do not lose them by their return to you. Your Son has taught us that life is eternal and love cannot die. So death is only a horizon, and a horizon is only the limit of our sight. Open our eyes to see more clearly, and draw us closer to you, so that we may know we are nearer our loved ones, who are with you. You have told us that you are preparing a place for us; prepare us, that where you are we may be always, O dear Lord of live and death. William Penn

  2. WF Lee-Anne Dore :

Dearest Pippa and family, may your memories sustain you and the companionship of friends and family be the pillars that hold up your house in this time of the loss of your Patriarch Keith Oliver. I met Keith several times always with his wife, he was always kind, had a smiling face, gentle in his words making you comfortable in conversation. We joked that he looked like Canada’s PM, and he took it in good measure and laughed.

I could see the devotion to his wife and life partner Pippa. When I was in their presence, their love was a radiant warm light surrounding them and given out into the world around them.

Many shall miss his smiling face and I am happy that he was born and gave my friend Pippa such a great love, sharing life’s journey in growing, raising a family, moving across the planet, and facing adversity together in their great adventures.

Goddess bless you Pippa, your Family and friends.
    Namaste, WF Lee-Anne Dore.

  6. Vivian Williams and Richard Pratt :

Pippa, we were so very saddened to hear of your loss. Even though we enjoyed the company of you and Keith only occasionally, at special times, over the past few years we felt as though we had known you both for much longer. Your cheery outlook and Keith’s easy charm and wit and wry sense of humour helped to make our gatherings warm, friendly and fun. We are so very glad Keith was able to enjoy the wonders Vancouver Island has to offer, including boating and fishing, which we know he so loved. Not everyone is able to share in that gift. We know that Keith’s spirit lives on in you and your children. Take good care of one another and know that you are forever welcome in our home and our lives.

  8. Mr O. We are shattered at your untimely death. You left us too soon. We remember you with fondness and thank you for the wonderful years of friendship when our children were young. How we made memories which we will treasure forever – benders and braais, sleepovers, “oetja” mealies on the fire and waiting for the sun to come up at Nahoon with Pete from Kryptonite running up and down the sand dunes and trying to fly. The evenings of music of choice as we played our favourite records. Sitting on the floor of the lounge in Elizabeth Road just singing and enjoying the company. Pretending to be soldiers and marching with logs of wood between us as the alcohol clicked in. Many happy conversations and delicious meals shared. We salute you as a friend, an uncle, a brother forever. We will remember you always as your funeral falls on our wedding anniversary. Rest in peace. We will miss you Mike, Gaby Warren, Dale and Kerryn South Africa xx
