During his life Jack fought many battles with great bravery. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II and continued to fight to the end of his life as he stoically battled the ravages of Alzheimer’s disease.
With the support of his two boys Jack was able to live out his final years in the family home in Calgary. He eventually lost his fight and succumbed to pneumonia in the Rockyview Hospital.
Jack is survived by his two sons Byron and Trevor, his sister Jeanette Bonney, Christine, Anne, numerous nephews, nieces, and friends.

Buffy Anne Ainsworth, beloved wife of Bob Ainsworth, of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at the age of 54 years.
Buffy was born on March 4, 1952 in Calgary. She attended the University of Calgary, earning a BA in English, and the University of Edmonton, completing course work leading to her Teaching Certification. Buffy will be fondly remembered as a wife, friend, and mother, as well as a teacher, musician, accomplished poet, and writer.
