Victoria (Viki) Nzekwu, beloved wife of Ben Nzekwu of Calgary, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2012 at the age of 59.
Viki was a beautiful woman, always with a radiating, disarming smile. She found meaning through a life of prayer. Viki was a compassionate, generous, and selfless woman. Viki moved mountains to get things done for the betterment of individuals and community, sometimes at personal cost. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, devoted mother, and irreplaceable friend.

Philip Zein beloved husband of Faride Zein of Calgary, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by his loving family on Monday, April 30, 2012 at the age of 77 years.
Philip was born in Ain Arab, Lebanon, there he married his loving wife Faride. In 1966, Philip immigrated to Canada. His family later joined him in Calgary in 1971.
Philip was known as Abou Michel, a nickname he was given in Lebanon. Philip will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he have eternal rest.

Valerie Derksen of Edmonton passed away peacefully on Monday, April 30, 2012 at the age of 47.
Valerie was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta and moved to Calgary with her mother in 1970. There she met the love of her life, Douglas Blaine Derksen, and they were married on July 4, 1992. On July 26, 1993, they welcomed their new son, Cody Mitchell Derksen. They lived in Calgary for eight more years before moving to Edmonton.
