Lillian Nowakowsky, beloved wife and soul mate of Edison Nowakowsky of Calgary, Alberta, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 31, 2013.
Lill and Ed enjoyed 55 years of wedded bliss – always together, always inseparable. Her family and friends were the most important things in her life and she will always be remembered for the love, affection and caring she showered on both.
Lill always saw the positive things in life, and found only good in everyone she met. As a result she made and enjoyed many long lasting friendships. In October 2012, she was diagnosed with cancer, and true to form remained positive, courageous, and elegant right up to the end.
Lill is survived by her loving husband, her children Dean and daughter-in-law Catherine, Robert and daughter-in-law Michele, Karen and six grandchildren; Tom, Will, Kaitlin, Terese, Courtney and Cameron.
