Albert (Bert) Normandeau beloved husband of Mary of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2009.
Bert was born in St. Boniface, MB and was raised in Radville, SK. Albert and Mary moved to Calgary shortly after being married where they have resided ever since. He was employed in the oil industry for a number of years and then worked on a ranch which he thoroughly enjoyed, so much so, that he never retired. Bert loved to play cards, work on the computer, meet his friends for coffee, landscape his yard, and travel to Arizona in the winter. Bert was always ready and willing to help others. His jovial personality always left his friends and family with a smile on their face. His laughter, teasing and jokes will be remembered by all.
Besides his loving wife, Bert is also survived by sisters, Carmelle, Lea (Wayne), and Teri (Brian); brothers, Roland (Vi), Ray (Eleanor), and Dave (Delaine); and many nieces and nephews and their children. Bert was predeceased by his parents; sister Janet and her husband Jim; and by brother-in-law Barney.
