Cecil “Cec” David Nordvall passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at the age of 85 years.
Cec enjoyed camping, fishing and going to dances with his wife Lou Nordvall. He was one of the founding members of the Calgary Canoe Club. He won many awards in bowling at Paradise Bowling Lanes, and with the Calgary Horseshoe Club.
Cec is survived by his children Ed (Bev) Nordvall, Jan (Derek) Green, and Doug Nordvall all of Calgary, AB, and Donna (Mike) McIsaac of Guelph, ON; his grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Lou Nordvall.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at Cornerstone Christian Assembly & King of Glory Lutheran Church (2640 Rundlelawn Road N.E.) on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Kathleen Gilhooly officiating.
