  7. Anne Campbell :

I remember with great fondness all the years we shared on Stanley … our many trips to the river, the countless hours we played at each other’s homes, the group production of root beer, the printing of photos in the dark room … so many memories! Your parents were both so wonderful and my thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

My sincere condolences . I worked with Alf at the Advanced Management Centre at Dalhousie University for many years. He was a very special man and he and I shared some good laughs. I always remember hearing him chuckling in his office about something he overhead me say to co-workers. He had such a wonderful laugh. My thoughts are with you.

To the Nielsen family. I worked with Alf at Dalhousie University for many years. Alf was always kind, considerate, meticulous, steady and never had a negative thing to say about anyone. I kind of considered him “my work dad” and will most definitely think of him the next time I read a book to a child.
