I have loving memories of a brilliant piano teacher who became a great mentor and friend. The respect and love she had for her many, many students; her patience; her laughter will all be part of her legacy.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Garth.
Your mother was a wonderful neighbour for so many years. I am so sorry for your loss, Garth

I am so sorry for your loss, Garth. Your mother’s warm heart and love of music brought pleasure to many, many people over the years, and left a lasting mark on the lives of a large circle of students, including mine. I will always remember her with deep affection and gratitude.
Fern become part of our family many years ago when she began teaching our children music. We celebrated Fern’s birthdays with her each year at the same restaurant – an event we always looked forward to. We will miss her, Garth.
She was kind and generous and she will always have a place in our hearts.
So much of my childhood was spent in the loving presence of Mrs. Neuls. She not only taught me the basics of piano playing, but the much more important quality of pouring my heart and soul into my music. I will always be grateful for the time and care she put into teaching me. Thank you, Mrs. Neuls.
My thoughts are with you, Garth.
Your mom was such a positive, wonderful influence in my life. She brought me the wonderful gift of music that I will always have with me. I am honoring her by coordinating an effort to raise funds to permanently dedicate a concert seat in her name; to celebrate her love of music. Upon further reflection, because Mrs. Neuls loved sharing music most of all and because I learned she donated every year to the Kiwanis Festival, I will choose to honor her by raising funds to establish a memorial scholarship in her name, to celebrate her love of music. http://fernneulsdonations.blogspot.com/
