Gerald, we are so sorry about Debbie. Far too young. When trying to find the words to say I came across this quote:

The sun has set too early on this dearly beloved wife and mother and it seems as if darkness now covers the land. May memories of her bring light to you and your family. May the love of God and support of friends be an anchor to you and your family, hold on to us, we will not let you fall.

  18. Started working with Deb on unit 52 when I moved to Calgary in 2000. Worked with her ever since. Spent time with her at work and outside of work. She put up a good fight and still made us laugh with her stories. Unit 29 lost a strong, caring nurse and mentor. Will never forget her.

I had the honour of working with Debbie for many years. I learned so much from her as she really was one of the smartest nurses I ever worked with. Deb was also one of the funniest and caring women. She always saw the light side of things and helped to make a hard situation easier with humour and wit. To her family and friends, my heart is with you in this very tough time. Debbie will be missed by so many.
