Olga Nedovesova, beloved wife of Jesus Guerra of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the age of 54 years.
Olga was born December 13, 1960 in Volgogrado, Russia. She graduated as a mechanical engineer from the Polytechnic Institute of Vladimir, where she met the love of her life and with whom she would immigrate to Cuba later on in 1984. Olga and Jesus married on March 26, 1984. In 2007 she came to Canada with their daughter to reunite with her husband after two and a half years of separation. She worked at Walmart in the shoe department where she made countless friends and became very loved by everyone who knew her.
Her favorite vacation was to Cabo San Lucas Mexico in 2014, her husband took her to finally celebrate the honeymoon they never had and the 30th anniversary of their endless love. Besides her family, Olga’s biggest passion was FLOWERS, and she would spend many hours gardening and then showing of them off to anyone who came to her house. She was known for her incredible strength in tough times, always the motor of the family. Her greatest weakness, passion, and greatest moment was the birth of her grandson Thiago in 2014. She always referred to him as her “PRINCE”.
Olga is survived by her daughter Ekaterina Guerra and her son-in-law Jendry Brito as well as her grandson Thiago Brito of Calgary; her parents Victor and Enelia Nedovesova; sister Elena Nedovesova and her husband German Kopiryn; and her nieces Irina and Olga Kopiryn and Vladimir Kopiryn of Russia.
