NAGY, Otto Laszlo

January 22, 1949 – Kissziget, Hungary
May 14, 2017 – Calgary, Alberta

Otto Nagy beloved brother and uncle, passed away on May 14, 2017 at the age of 68 years.

Otto attended Hamburger University in Chicago, Illinois and was the manager of McDonalds restaurants in the 1970s. He then went on to a long career with Standard General until his retirement. He enjoyed downhill skiing and was an avid outdoorsman

Otto is survived by his siblings, John Nagy, Ida Nagy and Michael Green, and Ernie and Angela Nagy all of Calgary; his niece and nephews, Shaun Nagy, Melissa Nagy, Mason Nagy and Spencer Nagy also of Calgary; and his beloved dog Csardas.

He was predeceased by his parents, Maria and Erno Nagy; niece Jessica Nagy; and his pets Vitez and Hussar.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive N.E., Calgary, AB) on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the Funeral Home. Graveside Service to follow at the Village of Standard Cemetery. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. The family would like to thank the Foothills Emergency Department and the Volunteer Resources at the Foothills Medical Centre.
