February 5, 1926 – Edam, Saskatchewan
January 4, 2015 – Calgary, Alberta
Robert Nadon, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at the age of 88 years.
Bob was one of eleven children growing up in Saskatchewan. He was a veteran of World War II. Bob raised 10 children, while owning a small shoe repair business. He had a great love of the outdoors, loved camping and hiking. Bob was passionate about playing crib, which he taught to all of his children. Bob’s favourite saying was “Getting old isn’t for sissies.” His sense of humor will be missed the most. Bob passed on with great dignity and was always the gentleman. The family would like to thank the Colonel Belcher and Santuari Hospice for the amazing care and kindness.
Remember me as you pass by
For as you are so, once was I
As I am now, so must you be
Prepare yourselves to follow me
P.S. Don’t hurry with love
