Stella Musak Calgary, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2012 at the age of 82 years.
Stella was born in Derwent Alberta and spent her early years farming with her family. She soon met and married Walter Georgeson with whom she raised three children. As a military wife, she lived in many places as far away as Germany before moving back to Calgary. Stella enjoyed working for many years at the, now called, Marriott Downtown Hotel. She eventually retired and settled into spending time with family and friends. Stella enjoyed dancing and laughing at the #1 legion and at the Golden Age Club and will be missed by all that knew her.
Stella is lovingly remembered by two daughters Linda (Jim) Price of Edmonton, Gloria (Bob) Scott of Comox B.C. and one son Marvin Georgeson of Calgary; three grandchildren Kelso, Tanya and Nicholas; eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers Vic (Fran) and Frank (Helen); two sisters Betty and Josephine. Stella was predeceased her brother Andy.
A Celebration of Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
