John Mosoronchon passed away peacefully on Monday, February 4, 2013 at the age of 86 years.
John was born and raised in Russell, MB. He served in the Armed Forces during WW II and attended the University of Manitoba to become a geophysicist. He spent his career in the oil and gas industry until his retirement in 1991. John loved fishing, golfing, bowling and curling.
Besides his loving wife of 56 years Sadie, John is survived by his son Rich and his wife Linda, his daughter-in-law Monica, his beloved grandchildren Kristopher, Kyle, Sophie, Liam and Sean and by his brother Richard, and by many special extended family members. John was predeceased by his son Bob, three sisters and a brother.
A Celebration of John’s Life will be held at the Carriage House Inn (9030 Macleod Trail South, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
