Condolence Messages

  1. I was sad to hear about Craig’s sudden passing. I had the opportunity to work with Craig for many years. What I remember most is how much he loved his family. He was very proud of his children and talked about them all the time. Craig had a lot of good qualities but what stands out is his gift of using humor to make others cheer up.

  2. I remember Craig so very fondly. I had the opportunity to work with him a bit when he was young when worked for my father in Northern Alberta. I am so very far away in Florida and haven’t had any contact for many years. He will find peace now that he has joined his parents.

  3. Jeff Patchell :

Brother in law and friend, Craig was one of the nicest, warm-hearted and generous people I’ve known. Many fond memories, most of him helping out in some way, always interested in others, his love of a story, eager to share a laugh in a caring, connecting way. Like all of us, Craig carried demons with him, and his made it particularly hard for him to live all aspects of his life the way he wanted. (it’s a big club, Craig. ) But, it was never for lack of caring or kindness of spirit.
A gentle, lovely person, gone too soon.
    Love you, Craig
    Jeff

  4. During the famous snowfall, St. Patrick’s Day 1998, while Craig was clearing all of the walks, of magical Springfield Place, I had mentioned to him that I had best shovel my garage roof. It had a flat top and I was concerned that it might cave in. The next day, I looked outside and there was Craig, on the roof, shovelling the heavy snow. My parents also live on the cul-de-sac and Craig checked in on them often, to make sure they were okay. Our kids became fast friends and Molly, Emma and I remember Craig often. He was thoughtful, kind and was always there to lend a hand or an ear. Our thoughts are with Lorna, Brittany, Kristen and Sean XX

  5. Many years ago Craig helped me when I had no one else to turn to. This meant so very much to me and I have always considered him to be one of my dearest friends, it is so tragic that he has to leave us at such a young age. To his children please know that your Dad was so very proud of you and loved you with all his heart, he talked about you all the time. My heart and prayers go out to his family and many friends and loved ones , our loss is hard to take. You will always be missed and lovingly remembered my friend.

  6. Bob and Linda Humble :

We were sorry to hear of Craig’s passing. He was a sweet young man and we do recall his love of his girls. He adored his mother too. Mary went to his pub one time and because he was busy with deliveries and customers, she was left alone at the bar. When he returned, she had made friends with one of the bikers who frequented the pub. Craig had to tell her to be careful who she spent time with.
