  7. I extend my condolences to the Morgan family. I was privileged to have Dr Morgan as a preceptor for our small group of first year medical students studying the cardiovascular system in the 1979/ 1980 academic year. Along with the group clinical rounds, he offered each one of us one-on-one time with him on a Saturday morning when he reviewed cardiac imaging. At the end of the course he had the whole group to his house for dinner. He was one of the few preceptors to do this. He was a great teacher and a great clinician. He has a lasting legacy in the physicians he trained and the knowledge they pass on to their students.
